Catherine Putman

Catherine Putman has had dogs of her own since she was 11. She has owned whippets, Italian greyhounds, german shorthaird pointers, a crossbred spaniel, greyhounds, a german shepherd, lurchers and salukis. She moved to Lochaber in 1999 and now shares her cottage on the banks of the Caledonian canal with three salukis, a whippet, two German short-haired pointers, a Large Munsterlander and a mongrel terrier. She is also an artist and her love of dogs is reflected in her work which includes many portraits of her pets.
